The operations require energy and we feel proud to say that we have achieved net energy neutrality ahead of schedule, reaching this milestone in year 2021, ahead of the year 2022 deadline by the establishment of wind & solar farms. Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our remarkable progress, having improved our Ecovadis ratings by 12% over the preceding year. This achievement demonstrates our dedication towards environmental responsibility and exemplifies our resolve to foster a sustainable future for all.
Environment
To foster environmental sustainability and cultivate a sense of belonging, we actively organize tree plantation events and have transitioned to using R2 refrigerants instead of carcinogenic Freon across all our facilities.
Water
To save water and meet the water requirement we perform Rainwater Harvesting and have successfully achieved zero discharge in all our plants. We select our vendors for waste disposal and treatment based on their capabilities in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS).
Target
The ambitious goal is to achieve carbon neutrality by year 2040 or even sooner. We have launched a comprehensive program aimed at transitioning our traditional techniques to sustainable and conscious ones; a critical pillar of our greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction strategy. To accomplish this vision, we are actively upgrading equipment, having energy audits and reducing waste materials. This commitment reinforces our dedication for a sustainable future and typifies our proactive approach to environment protection.
